We are excited to launch our very own private label, Indie Basics – a range of organic fashion-wear crafted for contemporary Indian women, who have a fine taste and a care for the environment.

These new breed of designers possesses the energy, spark and determination to revive the ancient artwork in marriage with organic clothing, without harming the Mother Nature. Ensuring fresh fashion organic is their motto in life, and for that they rely on rural artisans who are nourished with the needed expertise and skill to craft gorgeous pieces of beguiling art.

While the world is rife with everything handmade, our first own label Indie Basics is a rendition of Basic Indian fashion clothing – plain T-shirts, fine, organic fabrics, alluring cuts and traditional Lambani prints best describe this collection from the founders of MyRoots Desi.

White is the color of the season. Soothing shades of white are like a balm during the sultry summer afternoons – so for our summer special collection, we have largely incorporated white in sync with colorful hand embroidery by the Banjaras from Sandur. For this, we have collaborated with Sandur Kushala Kala Kendra to promote their indigenous Lambani artwork, which is an assemblage of coins, shells, mirrors, embroidery and colors. Their craftsmanship is truly incredible.
